About Marvel Rivals Placement Matches
Placement Matches play the ten Competitive games that set your rank at the start of a season. Marvel Rivals starts you three divisions below last season's final rank and moves you from there — strong placements finish higher, up to Celestial I.
Order only the games you have left, priced by the rank you finished last season (new to Competitive: Silver III, where the game starts you). Season 11 opens on 13 November 2026 (NetEase's official roadmap).
What's included
- 1 to 10 placement matches
- Priced by your final rank last season — Silver III if you're new
- Piloted (appear offline, VPN to your region) or duo on your own account
- Screenshot after every game, private chat, proof before payout
Requirements
- A Marvel Rivals account on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store or the NetEase launcher) at level 15 or higher — Competitive unlocks at 15, on the server region you pick.
- Piloted: you share your Steam, Epic or NetEase login after checkout — encrypted, never shown, deleted when the order closes. Approve the first sign-in with Steam Guard or the code your launcher e-mails you.
- Self-play: no login needed — you play on your own account.

How Marvel Rivals placement matches work
Pick the rank you finished last season and the number of placement games you have left. After checkout a verified Celestial+ booster claims the order, plays appear-offline with a VPN to your region (or with you, if you pick duo), posts a screenshot after every game and chats with you in the order. You approve once it's done — only then is the booster paid, and you have 72 hours to check.
After placements
Placements set your rank for the season — never above Celestial I. From where you land, a rank boost takes you the rest of the way, or net wins add a fixed push at a price per win.
FAQ
Where will I place?
The game predicts a starting rank three divisions below your final rank last season (Celestial II and higher start from Grandmaster II; new to Competitive: an estimated Silver III) and your ten placement games move you from there — since Season 7 your own performance adds or takes up to one division. You can't place above Celestial I; a rank boost from where you land takes you the rest of the way.
Do I need to finish placements for rewards?
Yes — NetEase gives no season rewards to players who don't finish all their placement matches.
Can the booster play my placements in duo?
Yes, inside the placement rules: while anyone in the party is in placements the party is at most three players and the highest and lowest must be under three divisions apart, so the booster queues on an account inside that range. Pick piloted if you'd rather not play.
