VALORANT sensitivity converter

Type the sensitivity you already aim with and your mouse DPI. You get the VALORANT sensitivity that turns exactly as far for every inch of mouse movement — and the same in every other game here — with your eDPI and cm/360.

Convert your sensitivity

0.502VALORANT sensitivity
401.6VALORANT eDPI at 800 DPI
32.6cm per 360° turn
12.8inches per 360° turn

The maths 1.596 × 0.022° ÷ 0.07° = 0.502 in VALORANT — the same turn for every count your mouse sends.

VALORANT 0.502 0.07° per count · eDPI 401.6 Sensitivity
Counter-Strike 2 1.596 0.022° per count · eDPI 1,276.8 you typed this
Apex Legends 1.596 0.022° per count · eDPI 1,276.8 Mouse Sensitivity
Overwatch 2 5.32 0.0066° per count · eDPI 4,256 Sensitivity
Fortnite 6.32% 0.005555° per count Mouse Sensitivity X (%)

Hip-fire only, at the same DPI in every game — scoped and ADS sensitivity are separate settings. Sensitivities are rounded to three decimals (two for Overwatch 2 and Fortnite); eDPI is DPI × the in-game number, so it compares players within one game, while cm/360 is the same everywhere. Fortnite is its X-axis percentage. Changing DPI too? Multiply the sensitivity by your old DPI ÷ your new DPI.

How the conversion works

Your mouse reports movement in counts — at 800 DPI, 800 of them per inch. Every shooter turns your view by a fixed angle per count, times your sensitivity; that angle at sensitivity 1 is the game's yaw. Counter-Strike 2 uses 0.022° (its default m_yaw), VALORANT 0.07°. Match the angle per count and the same hand movement turns you exactly as far, so the conversion is simply your sensitivity × your game's yaw ÷ the other game's yaw — CS2 1.6 × 0.022 ÷ 0.07 = 0.503.

eDPI (DPI × sensitivity) is how players compare settings inside one game: 800 DPI at 0.35 and 400 DPI at 0.7 are both 280 eDPI in VALORANT and feel identical. Across games the yaw differs, so compare cm/360 instead — the mouse distance for one full turn, which this converter keeps the same for every game in the list.

The yaw values behind the converter

GameSettingYaw (° per count at 1)To VALORANT
VALORANTSensitivity0.07°—
Counter-Strike 2Sensitivity0.022°÷ 3.18
Apex LegendsMouse Sensitivity0.022°÷ 3.18
Overwatch 2Sensitivity0.0066°÷ 10.61
FortniteMouse Sensitivity X (%)0.005555° per 1%÷ 12.60

VALORANT's 0.07° is CS2's 0.022° × 3.18; Overwatch 2 and Fortnite are VALORANT ÷ 10.6 and ÷ 12.6 — the published conversion ratios in the sources below. Rainbow Six Siege is left out: its hip-fire is the in-game slider times a multiplier in its settings file, so a single number can't be converted reliably.

FAQ

Common questions

How do I convert my CS2 sensitivity to VALORANT?

Divide it by about 3.18 — exactly 0.07 ÷ 0.022 = 3.1818. CS2 turns 0.022° per mouse count at sensitivity 1 (its default m_yaw) and VALORANT 0.07°, so CS2 1.6 is VALORANT 0.503 at the same DPI. Apex Legends uses the same scale as CS2, so the same division works for it.

What is eDPI in VALORANT?

Your mouse DPI × your in-game sensitivity — 800 DPI at 0.35 is 280 eDPI. It compares two VALORANT players' settings whatever DPI they use, but only within one game. To compare across games use cm/360, the distance you move the mouse for a full turn, which this converter keeps identical.

How do I convert Overwatch 2 or Fortnite sensitivity to VALORANT?

Overwatch 2: divide by about 10.6 (0.07 ÷ 0.0066). Fortnite: divide your X-axis percentage by about 12.6 (0.07 ÷ 0.005555 per 1%). Going the other way, from VALORANT, multiply by the same number.

Why isn't Rainbow Six Siege in the converter?

Siege's hip-fire sensitivity is the in-game slider times a multiplier kept in its settings file, so the same slider number turns differently from one setup to another. We list only games whose turn per count we could confirm from published sources, so we left Siege out rather than print a number that might be wrong for you.

Does it convert scoped or ADS sensitivity?

No — it matches hip-fire, the everyday turn. Scoped and ADS sensitivity are separate settings in every game; in VALORANT it is the Scoped Sensitivity Multiplier, applied on top of your main sensitivity.
