Live · updated 3 h agoWARDOGS backend update: Lonestar cash and XP bonus removed, Driver progression and tank-unlock exploit fixed
Less than twelve hours after Season 02 went live, BULKHEAD said it "got a few things wrong" and pushed a backend update: the Season-2-only cash and XP bonus for the blue team, Lonestar, is gone, Driver progression is slowed back towards the intended curve and the FOB-shuttle exploit that put tanks on the field within hours is closed. Abusers get 24-hour bans, farmed cash and XP are reset to zero, and limited-mode servers are planned for update 0.25. Written notes followed in the Steam discussions on 16 October; on 17 October BULKHEAD went further — see our early-Season-3 item.

BULKHEAD has published the full Season 02 patch notes: the season went live on 15 October at 10:01 UTC after a two-hour maintenance window (BULKHEAD's go-live post is in our launch-day item). For anyone grinding the role tracks the headline is the XP table (level 20 now needs 111,500 XP instead of 250,000), alongside a rebalance of high-calibre damage, armour, vendor prices and cash/XP rewards. Four new weapons, four vehicles, three buildables, a Molotov and rain round out the update.

Patch 26.21 is live on 21 October: the first balance pass since the Worlds patch locked, aimed at settling ranked for the end-of-season climb. Lee Sin, Caitlyn, Jinx, Yone, Tristana, Qiyana, Rammus, Nidalee and Viktor are trimmed; Azir, Orianna, Ryze, Miss Fortune, Taliyah, Darius, Nunu and Sion get buffs; Varus and Locke are reworked in place; Bastion Breaker's Sabotage now lasts the whole game; replay downloads are capped at 10 an hour. Worlds is played on 26.20, and nothing changes for ranked rewards or the season end. Hotfixed 22 October: Varus buffed alongside a Q bug fix.

Patch 26.20 went live on 7 October as the Worlds patch: pro staples Ambessa and K'Sante are nerfed, a long list of fringe picks (Kennen, Kindred, Swain, Smolder, Neeko, Mordekaiser, Lucian, Vayne, Tahm Kench) gets buffs, and Hextech Rocketbelt, Runaan's Hurricane and Experimental Hexplate are trimmed. The private-replay change written into these notes was pulled on patch day and pushed to 26.21, while Ranked 5s queue windows now run 4 pm to 4 am server time. For your climb it is a quiet patch on the Rift, targeted tuning rather than a meta shake-up, and it runs until patch 26.21 on 21 October.
