How to Become an Overwatch Booster (2026): Requirements and Pay

What it takes to boost Overwatch with us: the rank you need for each order, the proof, the PC setup, live payout examples, the 70 to 90% share, payouts and the rules, Blizzard's included.

Updated 2026-11-02 · 9 min read · by the BoostPirate crew
  • Grandmaster+ to start
  • Champion for Master+ orders
  • Keep 70–90%
  • Weekly payouts

BoostPirate will pay high-ranked Overwatch players to climb, play placements and net wins, queue as a pro teammate and coach — in every role queue, on PC. This guide explains which rank opens which jobs, the proof we ask for, the setup the work needs, what the jobs pay (the table comes straight from the price engine), how the 70%-to-90% share works and when the money arrives — and the rules that come with the work, Blizzard's included.

Short answer: you need Grandmaster or higher in the role you boost for orders up to Diamond, and Champion or Top 500 for Master, Grandmaster and Champion orders, proven with an Overbuff or tracker profile link or a Career Profile screenshot. You play on PC, appear offline, with a VPN to the customer's region, and never use scripts or input adapters. You keep 70% of every order from day one and climb to 90% with clean completions; earnings are paid weekly after the customer approves. Applications are reviewed by hand, usually within about 24 hours — and Overwatch applications open when Overwatch boosting launches.
Key takeaways
  • Rank decides the board: Grandmaster+ to start, Champion or Top 500 for Master, Grandmaster and Champion orders — this season or last.
  • Proof: an Overbuff or tracker profile, or a Career Profile screenshot, for every role you tick.
  • PC only, a VPN to the customer's region, appear offline, no third-party software and never an input adapter.
  • 70% to 90% of each order, weekly payouts, a one-time ID check before the first withdrawal.
  • Know the rules: Blizzard's EULA prohibits paid boosting, for the booster as well as the buyer; coaching is the lowest-risk work.

What you need to be accepted

We recruit on rank, proof and reliability. These are the requirements on our Overwatch recruiting page:

  • A high rank you can prove. Grandmaster or above in the role you boost, this season or last — Champion or Top 500 for Master, Grandmaster and Champion orders. An Overbuff or tracker profile link, or a screenshot of your Career Profile, is the proof.
  • Your roles. Tank, Damage and Support each have their own rank. Tick the roles you can carry; a booster who climbs in two roles claims far more orders.
  • PC, a VPN and a clean record. Orders are played on PC with a VPN to the customer's region, appear offline. No cheats, no scripts, no input adapters — ever.
  • 18+ and a one-time ID check. Done once, before your first withdrawal — never before you can claim jobs.

Proof means an Overbuff or tracker profile link, or a Career Profile screenshot, for every role you tick — links are accepted from overbuff.com · overwatch.blizzard.com · playoverwatch.com · tracker.gg. We look at the rank you hold now and your recent Competitive games — this season or last, not a peak from years ago — so make the profile public before you apply.

Which rank opens which jobs

We approve each booster for the orders their proven rank covers, in the roles they can carry, and the job board shows you those. The rule our recruiting and service pages set today:

OrdersYour rank, in the role you boost
Up to Diamond — rank boosts, placements, net wins and pro-teammate gamesGrandmaster rank iconGrandmaster or higher
Master, Grandmaster and Champion ordersChampion rank iconChampion or Top 500
Coaching — hourly sessions, any rank of customerGrandmaster rank iconGrandmaster or higher

The gates sit well above the orders for a reason: the ladder slows sharply at the top. Our delivery estimate assumes a booster climbs 2.5 Diamond divisions a day but only 1 in Grandmaster and about 0.6 in Champion — you have to win those games reliably, not occasionally. Roles matter as much as rank: Tank, Damage and Support each have their own rank, and Open Queue another, so a booster who climbs in two roles sees far more of the board.

How to apply, step by step

  1. Create a free account

No fee, no deposit and no trial purchase — ever.

  2. Open the booster application and tick Overwatch

Set your Competitive rank and tick the roles you play: Tank, Damage, Support.

  3. Link your proof

A public Overbuff or tracker profile, or a link to a Career Profile screenshot, for every role you tick.

  4. Add your Discord handle and a short intro

Approved boosters join the Verified Boosters server, where job alerts land first.

  5. Wait for the hand review

Usually within about 24 hours. Borderline cases may be asked for more proof.

Overwatch isn't open yet. Overwatch applications open when Overwatch boosting launches — get the alert on the recruiting page or the Overwatch hub and we'll e-mail you once.

The jobs on the Overwatch board

Five kinds of order reach the board — rank boosts, placements, net wins, pro-teammate games and coaching — and each card says how it's played:

Piloted — on the customer's account

Rank boosts from Bronze 5 to Champion 1, net wins and placement games. You sign in after the customer approves it, play appear-offline in the role queue they picked, and post a screenshot after every session in the order chat.

Duo — from your own account

Pro-teammate games and any order where the customer picked duo: you join their group and carry while they play. The group has to stay narrow — within five divisions from Bronze to Diamond, two in Master and Grandmaster, one in Champion — or every rank change shrinks. That's why pro-teammate orders stop at Grandmaster 1.

Coaching — on a call

Hourly sessions: live games on voice or a review of the customer's replays, covering positioning, cooldowns and hero pools. Nothing touches anyone's account.

The setup the work needs

  • PC, on Battle.net or Steam (a Battle.net account either way). We don't take console boosters at launch.
  • A VPN to the customer's region. Overwatch has no region menu — Blizzard Support says you "cannot select a play region" and are matched by ping — so you play from the customer's region or with a VPN to it.
  • Appear offline on every piloted order, with human pacing.
  • The customer approves your sign-in. Battle.net may ask for approval in the Authenticator app or an e-mail code; ask for it in the order chat, never anywhere else.
  • No cheats, no scripts, no input adapters — ever. On 4 August 2026 Blizzard banned more than 6,000 console accounts for unauthorized peripherals; on an order, the account at risk is the customer's.

What Overwatch jobs pay — live examples

The table comes from the same price engine customers pay through, so it shows today's payout for a newly verified booster, not a marketing figure.

"Customer pays" is our regular list price before add-ons. During a sale customers pay less and your payout is unchanged — the discount comes out of BoostPirate's share. Add-ons the customer picks, such as duo or express, raise the order value and your cut with it.

Your share rises with clean completions, and every job card already shows the share you're on:

When and how you are paid

Your earning for an order is credited when the customer approves the result, or automatically when the 72-hour approval window runs out. It then clears a 7-day hold — the window in which a refund or dispute could still touch it — and counts toward the weekly payout, paid from $20.00. The one-time identity check (you must be 18 or over) happens before your first withdrawal, never before you can claim jobs.

The rules you play by

Be clear-eyed about this before you apply. Blizzard's End User License Agreement lists "performing in-game services including, without limitation, account boosting or power-leveling, in exchange for payment" among the things a player agrees not to do (§1.C.iii) — that is the booster's side of every order — and says Blizzard may act against anyone who violates the limits "or assist[s] others in violating" them. Piloted orders also involve another person's login, which §1.A.iii forbids sharing. Your own Battle.net account can be actioned, not only the customer's. Our rules sit on top:

  • No cheats, scripts, macros or adapters, ever — and you're off the platform if you use them.
  • One role per order: play only the role queue the customer bought, so their other ranks don't move.
  • Narrow groups only on duo work, so the customer's wins count in full.
  • The login is the customer's: never saved, never shared, never used outside the order.
  • Proof after every session, and finish what you claim — customers rate pace, proof and communication.

Coaching jobs carry the least risk of all, because nobody's account is played. Read our Risk Disclosure and the Overwatch safety guide before you apply.
