Apex Legends split-two reset calculator

Pick your rank now. You get where EA's split-two table puts you, how many RP you'll have, the RP back to your division and tier — and how many matches that takes at your own average.

Apex Predator resets like Master — pick Master. Your rank as it stands when split two begins counts.

Your numbers for the climb back

Your own numbers, not EA's. Type the average net RP you made a match in your current tier — the RP change of your last ten matches divided by ten. EA publishes no placement or kill RP table, so the +30 we start with is only an illustration.

The rule EA's split-two table: Diamond II and I → Platinum II at 10,000 RP.

Back to Diamond II: 4,000 RP — about 119 matches, or 20 days at 6 matches a day, at your average of +30 RP a match. Entry is 48 RP in Platinum against 65 in Diamond, so the plan raises your average there by the saving on the 50% of matches you finish outside the top half.

Season rewards

Season-end rewards follow the highest rank you reach in either split, so what you earned in split one is kept. EA adds: “You'll get an animated version of the Season-end reward badge if you match the rank you achieved in the first split.” From Platinum II that means 2,000 RP back to Diamond.

EA Help's split-two table as read on 1 November 2026, the Season 30 version: the Season 31 patch notes weren't out on 2 November 2026 and may change it. Where you start a new season can't be calculated — EA places you from your hidden Ranked MMR (your Unranked Trios MMR if you're new to Ranked). The division floors are derived from the same table; your real matches will swing around your average. The booster estimate is our checkout engine's for the climb back. How the Apex ranked reset works

A season lasts about three months, and ranked resets twice: when the season starts and again at split two, roughly halfway. The two resets work differently. At the start of a season EA places you from your hidden Ranked MMR — or from your Unranked Trios MMR if you're new to Ranked — and there are no placement matches, so nobody can tell you in advance where you'll land. At split two EA uses a fixed table: Silver, Gold and Platinum players drop to division IV of their tier with 250 RP of demotion protection, Bronze goes to Bronze IV, Diamond goes to Platinum III or II, and Master and Apex Predator go to Platinum I.

Your season rewards follow the highest rank you reached in either split, so falling at the reset costs you nothing you've earned. EA adds one rule for the badge: "You'll get an animated version of the Season-end reward badge if you match the rank you achieved in the first split." A reset never touches your Legends, cosmetics, Apex Coins or account level, and your rank on another platform has its own reset — ranked is tracked per platform.

"Back to your division" runs from the lowest to the highest division of the row — a Gold IV player loses nothing, a Gold I player 2,000 RP. EA writes the Silver, Gold and Platinum rows as the division's start plus 250 RP of demotion protection.

The split calendar

  • 4 August 2026 — Season 30 "Marked" starts: a season reset from hidden MMR.
  • 15 September 2026 — Season 30 split two, six weeks in: the table above.
  • 3 November 2026 — Season 31 "Cipher" starts with a new season reset. Its split-two date and table are in the Season 31 patch notes, which weren't out when we checked on 2 November 2026.
  • Early 2027 — Season 32 moves ranked to a new ladder (Iron, Emerald, Masters IV–I, Grandmaster). EA hasn't said how today's ranks map onto it.

EA has changed the table before: in Season 22 (August 2024) Silver ran 3,000 / 3,600 / 4,200 / 4,800 RP and Gold IV started at 5,400, so always check the date on a reset table.

FAQ

Common questions

Where does Apex put you after the split reset?

EA uses a fixed table at split two: Bronze goes to Bronze IV at 1,000 RP; Silver, Gold and Platinum go to division IV of their tier with 250 RP of demotion protection (3,250, 5,750 and 8,750 RP); Diamond IV and III go to Platinum III at 9,250; Diamond II and I to Platinum II at 10,000; Master and Apex Predator to Platinum I at 11,000 RP.

Where will I be placed when a new Apex season starts?

At the start of a season EA places you from your hidden Ranked MMR — or your Unranked Trios MMR if you're new to Ranked — with no placement matches. That can't be calculated from your rank, so this tool covers split two only.

Do I lose my ranked rewards after the split reset?

No. Season-end rewards follow the highest rank you reached in either split. EA gives the animated version of the reward badge if you match the rank you achieved in the first split.

When is the split-two reset?

About halfway through a season. In Season 30, which launched on 4 August 2026, split two began on 15 September 2026. Season 31 starts on 3 November 2026; check its patch notes for the split-two date.
