CS2 Premier Boosting Explained: Prices, Delivery, Season Rules and Risks (2026)

What a Premier boost buys, how CS Rating moves, live prices and delivery times for every colour, the season medal and leaderboards, and when piloted or duo makes sense.

Updated 2026-10-21 · 8 min read · by the BoostPirate crew
  • 1,000 rating from $3.50
  • 15k → 20k: about 2 days
  • Express +25%
  • Medal: 25 wins

A Premier boost raises the CS Rating on your Counter-Strike 2 Premier card — the number everyone sees in the main menu, in the scoreboard and on the regional leaderboards. Before you buy one it helps to know how Premier actually moves a rating, why the price per 1,000 climbs with the colour, what the season rules mean for your medal, and where piloted and duo differ. Every price and delivery time below is read live from our checkout. Checked 2026-10-21.

Short answer: a Premier boost is priced per 1,000 CS Rating and gets dearer per step as the colour rises — 20,000 → 25,000 costs more than 5,000 → 10,000. A five-colour-step climb like 15,000 → 20,000 takes about 2 days at our booster pace. Your account needs Prime and Profile Level 10, and a visible CS Rating (after 10 wins) — if you have no rating yet, you want placement matches, not a boost.
Key takeaways
  • The number is the product. You set a start and target rating; the order ends when your Premier card shows the target.
  • Every 5,000 is a gate. Promotion and relegation matches happen only at colour boundaries, every 5,000 cs rating, so a climb that crosses a colour has one tougher stretch.
  • Your season high sets the medal colour — with 25 Premier wins in the season and an active rating when it ends.
  • Duo keeps the login with you (+40%); piloted is the fastest and needs nothing from you.
  • Ratings show on leaderboards. The top 1,000 of each region are public, so a big jump can be visible.

What a Premier boost is

Premier is Valve's ranked 5v5 mode. Instead of the old Skill Group badges, it gives you one CS Rating — a number from a few thousand to 30,000+ shown on a coloured plaque. A Premier boost moves that number: a verified booster plays Premier matches on your account (piloted) or alongside you in your party (duo) until the rating reaches the target you paid for.

It's the boost most people mean when they say "my rank", and the one that shows up everywhere — your friends' main menu, every scoreboard and the seven colour tiers. It doesn't move your per-map Competitive ranks or your FACEIT level.

How Premier moves your rating

A Premier boost, start to finish: your current CS Rating and target, priced per 1,000; Premier matches where each team votes two maps and one of the four is drawn, with every session logged on the order page; the target rating reached, proof on the order page and payment to the booster only after you approve. Your season high sets the medal colour with 25 wins, promotion and relegation matches happen only every 5,000, and an account without a rating needs 10 wins first — a placement order, not a boost

Valve's release notes spell out the rules that matter for a boost:

  • Harder lobbies at the top. Valve doesn't publish the rating formula, but the higher the colour, the stronger every lobby — which is why the top colours are slower and cost more per 1,000 (the gains per win players report also shrink as the rating rises).
  • Colour gates. Since 10 October 2023, promotion and relegation matches happen only at colour boundaries, every 5,000 CS Rating.
  • Map vote. Since 22 September 2026, each team votes to pick two maps, then one of the four is drawn at random — our boosters play the whole Active Duty pool.
  • Parties. Premier accepts parties of up to five (parties of four since 8 November 2023), so a duo boost is just you and a booster queuing together.

Seasons, the medal and timing your boost

Premier runs in seasons. A season's medal needs an account in good standing, 25 Premier match wins, an active CS Rating when the season ends; its colour is the highest CS Rating you reached during the season. That makes timing simple:

  • Boost before the season ends if the medal colour matters — your season high is what counts, so the rating only has to be reached once. The medal tracker shows your wins and colour.
  • Watch the switch date. Valve announces season ends late (Season Four's end was announced on 22 June 2026), and a new season can recalibrate ratings. Our season calendar marks every date confirmed or estimate.
  • After a reset, Premier hides your rating until 10 wins — that's a placement job.

Piloted or duo?

Piloted

A verified booster plays on your account. Fastest — ~2,000–3,000 rating / day — and needs nothing from you. Your login is entered once in an encrypted form, shown only to your booster and deleted when the order closes. Account sharing breaks the Steam Subscriber Agreement, so it isn't risk-free.

Duo

You play every match with the booster in your party (+40%). Nothing is shared, you learn how the rounds are won, and the rating you end on is one you've played at. The trade-offs, case by case: duo vs piloted.

Leaderboards: who can see your new rating

Premier has 9 leaderboards — Friends, World, Africa, Asia, Australia, China, Europe, North America, South America — each showing the top 1,000 players. Your region is the location of the servers you play on the most. A climb into the top 1,000 of your region puts your name in public view; leaderboard names are reviewed by Valve's moderators and locked for the rest of the season once approved. For most climbs this never comes up; for a 25,000+ order it's worth knowing. Want the climb to look natural? The Pro stats mode add-on (+50%) keeps K/D and ADR in a believable range.

When a Premier boost is the wrong buy

  • No Premier yet. It needs Prime and Profile Level 10 — how to unlock Premier.
  • You'd drop straight back. If the target is far above your level, pair it with coaching or choose duo.
  • You only want a few wins. Net wins buy wins over losses at the rating you're at.
What would your climb cost? Type your rating and target into the boost cost calculator for piloted, duo and Express prices with delivery times — or open the Premier boost page and order it there. Not sure where your number sits? The percentile calculator tells you.

FAQ

Common questions

How does a CS2 Premier boost work?
You enter your current and target CS Rating; a verified booster plays Premier on your account or with you in their party until your Premier card shows the target. Progress and screenshots are on the order page, and the booster is paid only after you approve.
How long does a Premier boost take?
15,000 → 20,000 takes about 2 days at our booster pace (~2,000–3,000 rating / day); with Express (+25%) it's about 30 hours. 20,000 → 25,000 takes about 2 days.
Why do higher Premier ratings cost more?
Every lobby gets stronger as the colour rises, so each 1,000 takes more wins against better players and needs a higher-rated booster. That's why 20,000 → 25,000 costs more than 5,000 → 10,000.
Does a Premier boost count for the season medal?
Yes — the medal's colour is the highest CS Rating you reach in the season, as long as you have 25 Premier wins and an active rating when it ends.
