FACEIT Elo Boosting Explained: How It Works, Prices, Speed and Risk (2026)

How a FACEIT Elo boost is counted, what it costs and how long it takes — live from our checkout — plus piloted vs duo under FACEIT's rules and how a season reset changes the timing.

Updated 2026-10-21 · 8 min read · by the BoostPirate crew
  • 100 Elo from $4.60
  • About ±25 Elo a match
  • Level 1 → 10: 6–7 days
  • Duo +40%

A FACEIT Elo boost raises the Elo on your FACEIT profile — and with it your level — by having a stronger player win matches for you or with you. It works differently from a Premier boost: FACEIT runs its own anti-cheat, its own rulebook and its own seasons, and you buy an exact Elo number rather than a colour. This guide covers how the climb is counted, what it costs and how long it takes (read live from our checkout), when piloted or duo makes sense on FACEIT, and how a season reset changes the timing. Checked 2026-10-21.

Short answer: a FACEIT Elo boost is priced per 100 Elo. An even match is worth about ±25 Elo, so every 100 Elo is roughly four more wins than losses. Level 10 starts at 2,001 Elo. Because FACEIT lists rank manipulation as a zero-tolerance offence, duo — where you play every match yourself with a Level 10 booster in your party — is the lower-risk way to buy it.
Key takeaways
  • You buy Elo, not a badge. The level is just the band your Elo falls in — Level 9 to 10 is 250 Elo, Level 4 to 5 is 150.
  • ±25 an even match (30 in a Premium Match). Bigger team gaps move less for the favourite and more for the underdog.
  • Level 1 → 10 takes 6–7 days piloted at our booster pace; Express cuts that to about 1/1.6.
  • Lean duo on FACEIT. Nothing is shared, the anti-cheat runs on your own PC, and you see how the rounds are won.
  • Seasons reset Elo. Season 9 began 5 August 2026 with a soft reset; Season 10's date isn't announced.

What a FACEIT Elo boost is

FACEIT is a separate matchmaking platform for Counter-Strike 2 with ten skill levels built on an Elo number. Every player starts at 1,000 Elo, gains it for wins and loses it for losses, and the level badge simply shows which band the number sits in. A boost moves that number from where you are to a target you choose: a verified booster — Level 10 themselves — plays FACEIT matches until your profile shows the target Elo.

There are two ways to do it. Piloted: the booster plays on your FACEIT account. Duo: you play every match yourself with the booster in your party. Both are covered below. Either way it never touches your Premier rating — FACEIT and Premier are separate ladders (Premier vs FACEIT).

How the climb is counted

How a FACEIT Elo boost is counted: you set a start and target Elo, priced per 100 Elo, and the level follows — Level 10 starts at 2,001; wins move it, about 25 Elo for an even match, so 100 Elo is roughly four more wins than losses; it is delivered when your FACEIT profile shows the target and the booster is paid only after you approve. Duo keeps everything on your own PC, seasons reset Elo, and FACEIT treats rank manipulation and smurfing as zero-tolerance offences
Elo first, badge second. The order is finished when your profile shows the number you bought.Graphic: BoostPirate · level icons © FACEIT

FACEIT says Elo is "not a fixed ±25": the stake of each match comes from the win probability set by the Elo gap between the two teams when the lobby launches, with extra weighting for parties with a wide skill spread. Leaving early costs double, and Levels 1–9 get small performance adjustments. For planning, an even match is about 25 Elo either way — which is why a 100-Elo step is close to four net wins. The level bands are not the same width:

Net wins = wins minus losses, at an even 25 Elo a match. The Elo gain calculator shows what a win is worth against a stronger or weaker team.

What a FACEIT boost costs and how long it takes

FACEIT boosts are priced per 100 Elo, and each step costs more the higher it sits: a 100 Elo step at 2,500 means beating far stronger lobbies than one at 1,000. These are the common climbs, priced and timed by our checkout right now:

Piloted or duo on FACEIT?

Duo — the default we recommend

You queue with a Level 10 booster in your party and play every match on your own PC, with your own FACEIT anti-cheat running. No login changes hands, and a strong partner lifts your win rate from the first game. It costs +40% and needs you online — duo games are the per-match version.

Piloted — fastest, higher risk

The booster plays on your account while you're busy. It's the fastest way up, but FACEIT's banning policy (updated 29 July 2026) lists cheating, smurfing, bug abuse, rank manipulation, match fixing, stream sniping as zero-tolerance offences, and piloting another player's account can count as rank manipulation. Smurf accounts get 3 months on the main account, escalating to permanent; the smurf account is banned for good and its last 100 matches of Elo are reverted. Treat a piloted FACEIT order as the higher-risk product it is — is CS2 boosting safe?

Season resets: when to buy

FACEIT seasons last about four months. Season 8 ran 22 April 2026 – 4 August 2026; Season 9 began 5 August 2026 with a lighter, personalised soft reset built from activity, win rate and FACEIT Rating over your last 50 games, and players above 2,500 Elo usually started lower — the top end was compressed. New seasons open with 10 placement matches. FACEIT says "We run resets when the ecosystem needs them" — so a reset isn't automatic every season, and Season 10's start date hasn't been announced.

  • Mid-season is the cleanest time: your Elo stays where the booster leaves it until the next reset.
  • Right after a reset, FACEIT placement matches set your starting Elo — often cheaper than buying the same Elo back later.
  • Close to a season end, a soft reset may pull the top end down — see the Season 10 start date guide and the season calendar.

What to check before you buy

  • The booster is Level 10 and plays FACEIT weekly — not a Premier player trying FACEIT.
  • The target is an Elo number, so "Level 10" means 2,001 or whatever you set — no arguments at the end.
  • Progress you can see: an order page with the Elo after each session.
  • Payment after approval: the booster is paid only once you've checked your profile. Our full checklist is in how to choose a CS2 boosting service.
Price your climb in ten seconds. Put your Elo and your target into the boost cost calculator — piloted, duo and Express with delivery times — or work out the net wins first with the FACEIT Elo calculator. Ready? The FACEIT Elo boost page prices it the same way.

FAQ

Common questions

How does FACEIT Elo boosting work?
You set your current and target Elo; a verified Level 10 booster wins FACEIT matches on your account (piloted) or with you in their party (duo) until your profile shows the target. An even match is worth about 25 Elo, so every 100 Elo is roughly four more wins than losses.
How long does a FACEIT boost from Level 1 to 10 take?
About 6–7 days at our booster pace (~250–350 Elo / day); Express cuts it to about 4 days. Level 8 to 10 takes 1–2 days.
Is FACEIT boosting safe?
No boost is risk-free: FACEIT's banning policy lists rank manipulation and smurfing as zero-tolerance offences. Duo (+40%) is the lower-risk way — you play every match on your own PC and nothing is shared.
Does a FACEIT boost reset at the end of the season?
Your Elo stays where the booster leaves it until FACEIT runs a reset. Season 9 began with a personalised soft reset; FACEIT says it resets when the ecosystem needs it, so not every season.
