- Opened 15 Oct 2026
- Solo queue only
- Champion + Platinum last season
- Top 100 get a charm
Halfway through Y11S3 Ubisoft opened something Rainbow Six Siege hadn't had before: a playlist above Champion that only solo players with locked-down accounts can enter. The Legend Division replaced the old featured leaderboard, put its players on regional leaderboards that anyone can watch, and arrived with what Ubisoft calls the most significant anti-cheat update since Siege launched. This guide explains it as it stands on 2 November 2026: who can play, how to set up the authenticator app and the PC security settings, how the region lock and leaderboards work, what you win, how it differs from Champion ranked, why Ubisoft built it and what may change next.
- Solo queue only. No squads, so no duos and no five-stacks.
- Champion now, Platinum or higher last season. Both rank conditions have to be true.
- A positive reputation standing and an authenticator app are required on every platform; e-mail codes don't count.
- On PC, Secure Boot, Memory Integrity (HVCI) and TPM 2.0 must all be on, and you grant temporary admin rights for the check.
- You lock one region. Leaderboards are public, and the top 100 get a charm next season.
What the Legend Division is
Ubisoft calls it "the new SoloQ-only Legend Division playlist", which "provides the highest skill players a dedicated space". It was part of the Ranked 3.0 plan from the start: when Champion got its five divisions in June 2026, Ubisoft moved the featured leaderboard to Champion I and said that "in Season 3, the Legend Division will replace this leaderboard". The playlist "opens mid-season", and in Y11S3 Operation Split Fire that meant 15 October 2026.
It isn't a ninth rank. Your rank stays
Champion on the normal ladder; the Legend
Division is a separate queue with its own regional leaderboards. Think of it as the tournament room next to the top of the ladder, not a
step above it. For the ladder itself, see R6 ranks explained.
Who can play: the requirements
Ubisoft's season page lists them in one sentence: "Only players who meet the criteria, including current Champion rank and Platinum rank last season, a positive reputation standing, and completed security requirements, will have access to this exclusive playlist." In full:
| Requirement | What Ubisoft asks | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| A current Champion rank. | All platforms | |
| Platinum last season. The Ranked 3.0 update words it as "Reach Platinum Rank or higher in Season 2 & Champion in Season 3". | All platforms | |
| Reputation | A positive reputation standing. | All platforms |
| 2-step verification | "Activate 2-step verification by adding an authenticator app to their Ubisoft account." | All platforms |
| ShieldGuard Secure Platform | Secure Boot, Windows Memory Integrity (HVCI) and TPM 2.0 enabled, and temporary administrative privileges granted so the game can verify them. | PC |
Two notes. Ubisoft's reputation system has five standings (Exemplary, Esteemed, Respectable, Disruptive and Dishonorable, as Ubisoft defined them in 2024), and it hasn't said which of them count as "positive" for the Legend Division; our reputation guide explains the system. And some sources also cite a Clearance Level of 200 and a reputation standing of "3" or better. Neither number appears on Ubisoft's season page, so treat them as unconfirmed and check the playlist's lock screen in game. Setting up the security requirements
The authenticator app (every platform). Ubisoft's August 2026 Community Checkpoint announced that the Legend Division would require "two-step verification with an authenticator app", and added a bonus: "everyone who enables two-step verification will receive an Alpha Pack". Codes sent by e-mail don't meet the rule: the requirement is an authenticator app added to your Ubisoft account.
The ShieldGuard Secure Platform (PC). Ubisoft calls it "the most significant anti-cheat update the game has had since Siege launched", built on three Windows features:
- Secure Boot "verifies the legitimacy of every step of your PC's startup chain, such as firmware, OS, and drivers".
- VBS / Core Isolation (HVCI) "runs Windows' most sensitive processes in an isolated virtual environment".
- TPM 2.0 "cryptographically ensures Secure Boot and VBS/Core Isolation are genuinely active".
Ubisoft's own instruction is short: "enable Core Isolation in Windows Security, and some may need to upgrade their firmware to allow Secure Boot and TPM to run effectively." In practice (our general Windows steps, not Ubisoft's): turn on Windows Security → Device security → Core isolation → Memory integrity and restart; switch on Secure Boot and TPM in your PC's UEFI firmware settings, where the names vary by motherboard maker; then launch Siege and grant the temporary admin rights when the check asks. Our ShieldGuard and Secure Boot guide covers the troubleshooting.
Region lock and the leaderboards
"Once Legend Division opens mid-season, players lock their region and start playing matches to see where they stand among fellow Legends on the leaderboard." Ubisoft's page doesn't list the regions, and the lock is the point: pick the one you'll actually play from for the rest of the season, because your standing is measured there.
The boards are open to everyone: "All players can access the regional leaderboards to see who's climbing to the top, even if they aren't eligible to play themselves." That makes the Legend Division the place to watch the best solo players in your region, even if you're nowhere near Champion yet.
What you win
- A dynamic banner. "Legend players receive a dynamic banner displaying their standing."
- The top-100 charm. "Those who crack the top 100 get a charm next season that displays their final leaderboard position."
- The catch. "You can only keep the charm if you stay in the top 100."
Your normal ranked rewards still apply: the rank reward follows the highest rank you reach in the season. Ubisoft hasn't said whether Legend Division matches also count toward the Competitive Rewards track. See the ranked rewards guide.
Legend Division vs Champion ranked
| Champion in normal ranked | Legend Division | |
|---|---|---|
| Queue | Solo or squad; teammates within 2 full ranks (Emerald, Diamond, Champion) | Solo queue only |
| Entry | Win it in ranked; nobody places into Champion | Champion now, Platinum or higher last season, positive standing, security checks |
| Account security | 2-step verification on the Ubisoft account | Authenticator app; Secure Boot, HVCI and TPM 2.0 on PC |
| Region | Matchmaking weighs time and location | One region, locked for the season |
| Leaderboard | Champion leaderboard from Champion I | Regional leaderboards anyone can view |
| Rewards | Rank reward for your highest rank | Standing banner; top-100 charm next season |
Why Ubisoft built it
Cheating at the top of the ladder. In August 2026 Ubisoft said the then-current season "has the lowest number of cheating reports in recent seasons, except in high-ranking match pools", and that the team was "aiming to improve the impact of anti-cheat tools at the Diamond ranks and above". Solo queue takes squads out of the picture, the authenticator app is there "to help protect your account", and Secure Boot, in Ubisoft's words, makes it "easier to detect cheats before the game even launches". Ubisoft also said a kernel-level anti-cheat, shared across its games, would reach Siege with a notice to players in Season 3.
What may change
- App 2FA beyond Legend. "Eventually, two-factor authentication via app will be rolled out to other divisions of Rainbow Six Siege as well." Setting it up now saves a scramble later.
- The end of the first run. Ubisoft's season page gives no end date for the Legend Division. The Split Fire Battle Pass runs to 1 December 2026 and the season is expected to end around then, so expect the first Legend run to close about then too.
- Y11S4. Ubisoft hadn't announced the next season on 2 November 2026. If the rule carries over unchanged, "Platinum rank last season" will mean a Platinum or higher rank in Y11S3, so a Platinum push before the season ends keeps the door open.
Getting to Champion first
The Legend Division is solo queue on your own account, behind your own authenticator app, so there is no duo option, and we don't sell it. What we can help with is the road to Champion. Our services are priced from the same engine as checkout, on PC. Diamond V to Champion V is $175.50 today, and two hours of coaching $26.82. Rainbow Six Siege boosting isn't open for orders yet: get the launch alert on the R6 page.
Be clear about the rules: Ubisoft's Player Protection Core Rules (31 July 2026) list "Paying or using external services to inflate rank" as boosting, with sanctions up to a permanent ban, and a boosted Champion still has to win Legend games alone. Read the Risk Disclosure and is R6 boosting bannable? first. Coaching stays inside the rules and builds the solo skills Legend tests.
- Improve: 1-on-1 coaching with a Champion coach: solo-queue habits, drones, angles and replay review.
- Climb: Rank Boost to Champion V; the Legend Division itself isn't sold.
- Push: Ranked Net Wins at your rank, up to Diamond I.
