Marvel Rivals Ranked Rewards (2026): Every Gold Costume So Far

What every Marvel Rivals rank earns in 2026: the Gold costume each half-season and its two conditions, nameplate frames, Crests of Honor and the Top 500 crest, when they arrive, and every Gold costume NetEase has named so far.

Updated 2026-11-02 · 9 min read · by the BoostPirate crew
  • Gold: a costume every half-season
  • 10 ranked matches in the half
  • Crests and frames once a season
  • Season 10.5: Jeff, Razor-Tooth

Marvel Rivals pays for rank in two ways: a free costume for reaching Gold, handed out every half-season, and a set of nameplate frames and Crests of Honor for the higher tiers once per season. The costume is the one most players chase, and it has two conditions that catch people out every half-season. This guide covers the rules as they stand on 2 November 2026: what each rank earns, exactly what the Gold costume needs, when rewards arrive, and every Gold costume NetEase has named so far.

Short answer: every half-season Marvel Rivals gives a Gold-rank costume to players who play at least 10 ranked matches in that half and finish it at Gold or higher. In Season 10.5 it's Jeff the Land Shark – Razor-Tooth. Platinum and Diamond add nameplate frames, and Grandmaster, Celestial, Eternity and the Top 500 earn Crests of Honor. Since Season 5, crests and frames are granted once per season at its end, and no season reward comes without finished placements.
Key takeaways
  • Gold costume: two conditions. 10 ranked matches in that half-season, and Gold or higher when it ends.
  • Your final rank counts, not your peak. Drop below Gold III before the half ends and you lose the costume.
  • A new costume every half-season, so up to two a season.
  • Crests and frames come once per season, at its end, for the rank you finish on.
  • No placements, no rewards. Finish all ten first.

What each rank earns

NetEase has kept the same shape since Season 3 (July 2025), when it added nameplate frames "for Diamond and Platinum ranks" next to the Gold costume and the "Crests of Honor for Grandmaster, Celestial, Eternity, and the illustrious Top 500":

Rewards per rank from NetEase's Season 2, Season 3 and Season 5 patch notes. Last column: RivalsTracker, Season 10.5, PC, 583,229 tracked profiles, read 2 November 2026, a community sample rather than an official census.

Beebom's list of the Season 10 rewards names the crests slightly differently: Grandmaster, Celestial, "Eternity & One Above All", "One Above All" and "Top 500". NetEase's own notes speak of crests for Grandmaster, Celestial, Eternity and the Top 500, and call the Top 500 crest the one "for the top 500 (One Above All)". Either way, which crest you get depends on where you finish the season, and the Season 10 frames were the God Bomb frame (Platinum) and the Divine Tempest frame (Diamond), per the same list.

The Marvel Rivals reward ladder: Gold earns the half-season Gold costume (Season 10.5: Jeff the Land Shark – Razor-Tooth) for 10 ranked matches in the half and Gold or higher at its end; Platinum and Diamond earn nameplate frames; Grandmaster, Celestial, Eternity and the Top 500 earn Crests of Honor; crests and frames are granted once per season at its end and need finished placements

The Gold costume: one every half-season

The Season 5 notes set the rule that still applies: "Gold-tier rewards remain the same; one costume per half-season." To earn it "you must complete 10 ranked matches in that season's half and finish at Gold rank or higher at the end of the half-season". Two conditions, and both bite:

  • Ten matches in this half. Matches from the first half don't count toward the second half's costume. Play your ten early; a busy last week can leave you one game short.
  • Gold at the end, not at your best. Marvel Rivals checks your rank when the half ends. Reaching Gold II rank iconGold II in week two and sliding to Silver I rank iconSilver I by the deadline means no costume. If you're just above Gold III rank iconGold III, a cushion of a division or two is worth more than one last game.

Play ten matches in both halves and finish both at Gold, and you collect both costumes of the season, plus the season-end rewards. Season 10.5's costume is Jeff the Land Shark portraitJeff the Land Shark – Razor-Tooth, and Season 10.5 ends when Season 11 begins on 13 November 2026, per NetEase's roadmap.

Crests of Honor and nameplate frames

Since Season 5 (November 2025), "Crests of Honor (inc. Top 500) and Nameplate Frame rewards are now granted once per season at the season's end". To receive them you must have completed your placements and finished the season at the required rank. In practice:

  • They follow your final rank of the full season. The x.5 half doesn't hand out a separate crest; your rank simply carries through it, since half-seasons don't reset.
  • Higher ranks still get the costume. The costume rule says "Gold rank or higher", so a Grandmaster or Eternity player who plays ten ranked matches in the half gets it too, on top of the season's crest.
  • The Top 500 crest needs a Top 500 place. One Above All is the Top 500, and the leaderboard is kept separately for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Our Eternity and One Above All guide explains it.

Why placements decide every reward

NetEase's Season 5 rule is blunt: "If you don't finish all placement matches this season, you will not receive any season rewards." Each full season starts with ten placements. If you finish them in the first half, your rank carries into the second half; if not, you can finish them in the second half and still qualify for that half's rewards. With Season 11 on 13 November, that means:

  1. Finish your ten placements first.

Nothing counts until they're done, and they set the rank you're defending.

  2. Then play at least ten ranked matches in the half.

    That's the costume's own count, per half-season.

  3. Be at Gold or higher when the half ends.

Leave yourself room above Gold III for a late losing streak.

Placements work the same for everyone with a previous rank: they start three divisions below last season's final rank, and new players start from Silver III. The details are in our placement matches guide.

What's missing, and why: the Season 8.5 and Season 9.5 patch notes don't name a Gold costume at all, and we haven't confirmed the Season 0, 1, 2.5, 3.5 and 4.5 rewards in NetEase's notes, so they aren't listed rather than guessed. The Season 1.5 notes list two, Invisible Woman's Blood Shield and Human Torch's Blood Blaze, as "S1.5 Gold Rank costume rewards". NetEase hasn't announced a way to earn a past Gold costume again.

When rewards arrive

The Gold costume is tied to the end of its half-season, and crests and frames to the end of the full season. Beebom's reward guide adds that the rewards "won't be available to claim until the current season ends", so don't expect the costume the moment you reach Gold. For Season 10.5 that's 13 November 2026, the date NetEase's roadmap gives for Season 11 and the end date RivalsMeta shows for Season 10.5. Past seasons went live at 09:00 UTC; NetEase hasn't announced Season 11's time.

How many players reach each reward

NetEase publishes no rank percentages. RivalsTracker's Season 10.5 sample for PC gives an idea of how hard each reward is, with the caveat that it counts tracked profiles, not every player:

  • Gold costume: 72.7% of tracked profiles were Gold III or higher.
  • Platinum frame: 55.6%; Diamond frame: 34.1%.
  • Grandmaster crest: 14.9%; Celestial crest: 3.7%; Eternity crest: 0.36%.

The single biggest division in the sample is Silver III rank iconSilver III, with 12.31% of tracked profiles, three divisions short of the costume. That's where every new player places from. The full table is in our rank distribution guide.

Help reaching a reward rank

The costume rewards whoever is at Gold when the half ends, so timing matters more than speed. A rank boost from Silver III to Gold III is $8.10 today, Gold I to Platinum III for the frame $4.00, and five net wins at Silver $10.57, from the same engine as checkout. Whatever you choose, the costume still needs its own count: at least ten ranked matches on your account in that half.

Be clear about the rules first: NetEase's Terms of Use forbid sharing your account, and a piloted boost means someone else plays it. NetEase can act against an account that breaks the terms. FAQ

Common questions

What is the Season 10.5 Gold rank reward in Marvel Rivals?
Jeff the Land Shark, Razor-Tooth costume. You need at least 10 ranked matches in Season 10.5 and Gold or higher when the half-season ends, which NetEase's roadmap puts at the start of Season 11 on 13 November 2026.
Do I have to stay Gold until the end of the season?
Yes. NetEase checks your rank at the end of the half-season, not your peak, so dropping to Silver in the last week costs you the costume. You also need at least 10 ranked matches in that half.
What do Grandmaster and higher ranks get?
A Crest of Honor. NetEase names crests for Grandmaster, Celestial, Eternity and the Top 500. Since Season 5 crests and the Platinum and Diamond nameplate frames are granted once per season, at its end, and only if you finished your placements.
Can I still get old Gold costumes?
NetEase has not announced a way to earn a past Gold-rank costume again. Each one is tied to its half-season, so check the current reward before the half ends.
