Estimate your climb
Your numbers
Riot's 2026 baseline is about ±20 LP at matched MMR (±30 on the Master+ ladders reset in patch 26.9); set your own gains if the client shows different numbers. Game length by tier from League of Graphs, patch 26.20. The booster line uses our boosters' tier-by-tier pace and a live Solo/Duo quote on EUW list price.
How the estimate works
Every division is 100 LP, so the LP you need is the divisions between your current and target rank times 100, minus the LP you already hold. Your expected LP per game is win rate × LP per win minus loss rate × LP per loss: at the ±20 baseline a 55% win rate is worth about +2 LP a game and 60% about +4. Divide the LP by that figure and you have the games; divide by your games a day and you have the calendar. The tool also totals the hours from the average game length of each tier you climb through (Gold games average just over 30 minutes, Challenger games about 26).
Hidden MMR is what makes the numbers move. When it sits above your visible rank you gain more than you lose (around +28 / −18), the climb accelerates and promotions come with a demotion shield of ten games; below it, the reverse. If your gains are "significantly less than 20 LP per win", Riot's own wiki notes, your MMR is under your rank — the fix is a better win rate, not more games. Common questions
How many games does it take to climb a division in LoL?
A division is 100 LP. At Riot's 2026 baseline of about 20 LP per game, a 55% win rate nets roughly 2 LP a game, so a division is around 50 games; at 60% it is about 25 games and at 65% about 17. When your hidden MMR sits above your rank you gain more than you lose (about +28 / −18) and the climb is faster — the calculator lets you set both numbers.
How long does a full tier take?
Four divisions, so four times the games above: at a 55% win rate and five games a day that is roughly 40 days for a tier. A verified booster on your account moves about two divisions a day in Iron and Bronze, one and a half in Gold, one in Platinum and under one from Emerald up — the booster timeline in the result uses exactly those paces.
Why does my LP gain differ from the ±20 baseline?
LP gains follow your hidden MMR. Win more than the system expects and your MMR runs ahead of your visible rank, so wins pay more and losses cost less until the rank catches up; the reverse happens on a losing streak. Riot's baseline is ±20 LP at matched MMR (±30 on the Master+ ladders of the regions reset in patch 26.9).
Is this calculator free and does it match a real order?
Yes. The booster estimate uses the same per-tier speed and the same price engine as checkout, so the days and the price you see here are what a real Solo/Duo order would show. Nothing here needs a login.
